Third information and experience sharing session with TAME doctors in Taiwan

It was our third meetup with Taiwanese doctors on March 10th from 7-8:30pm, and 31 doctors in total were participated this time.

Dr. Sugihara from Okuno Clinic. and Dr. Lin from Tri-service General Hospital in Taiwan had case presentations for 10mins each, then Dr. Okuno gave a brief lecture with a theme “Pitfall in TAME.”

Each presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session, and we had a very fruitful 90mins.

Second information and experience sharing session with TAME doctors in Taiwan

We had second online session by Zoom meeting with Taiwanese doctors who have done or try to conduct TAME. This time, the number of participants were 33. 

Although it was a short time just an hour and half, Dr. Huang (Taiwan), Dr. Lu (Taiwan) and Dr. Shibuya (Japan) gave case presentations, and Dr. Okuno did a short lecture. 

TAME is getting to be known in Taiwan as well, and we discussed the treatment of Heberden’s nodes and plantar fasciitis.

Winter Recess

OKUNO CLINIC. will be in winter recess between December 29th to January 4th. 

We will resume our operation on January 5th, Tuesday.

Academic journal for severe shoulder pain was published in Europe

Dr. Yuji Okuno engaged in the catheter treatment of patients suffering from severe stiff shoulders and published the journal in Europe. There had never been a clear treatment for severe stiffness in shoulder so far.

First meetup with doctors in Taiwan

We held a study session with 18 Taiwanese doctors led by Dr. Liang from Taiwan Medical University. Dr. Keng Wei Liang, Dr. Bow Wan, Dr. Masahiko Shibuya and Dr. Keishi Fujiwara each gave a 10 minutes case presentation to deepen our understanding of TAME.

Dr. Yuji Okuno gave a lecture at GEST symposium

Dr. Yuji Okuno joined GEST symposium and gave a lecture of “Role of Embolization in Sport Injuries.” It was their first webinar, but more than 2,000 people joined from over 100 countries.

The first meetup with Dr. Sang Woo Park from Konkuk University in South Korea

We had the first online gathering with Dr. Park who is the leading expert on musculoskeletal catheterization in Korea.

We exchanged information each other regarding the current status and trends of TAME in Korea and Japan in a friendly atmosphere.
